Conclusion

Conclusion The purpose of this book is not to rush to establish the first nation on Mars, but through conceptualization, to provide a systematic planning approach for humanity's future development of Mars. It aims to paint a beautiful future for Mars on a blank canvas, rather than starting from a competitive mindset of resource extraction, land occupation, and colony establishment, which would reduce Mars to a mining site, landfill, or territorial battlefield. Furthermore, some of the development approaches for Mars, along with the environmental and technological conditions involved, can also be applied to the development of underwater and desert cities on Earth. Therefore, the focus of this book is to expand human thinking—humans are not limited to Earth, not limited to the ground, and not limited to oases. Imagine underwater cities facing similar problems of thin air, and even lack of sunlight. However, power and lighting can be provided through other technologies such as tidal power generation. Similarly, deserts face water scarcity, which can also be solved through other technologies. Currently, humans invest much of their energy in uncreative and consumptive activities such as war, gambling, internal conflicts, and involution. It would be better to direct more attention and energy toward the depths and distances. Finally, gratitude to the universe's greatest intelligence for creating such a magnificent and colorful world.
